Fighting scale is no longer left to chance!
There are many products available these days to try and tackle the growing problem of reduced system efficiency. These include filters, magnets, chemical additions, system flushing to name but a few.
These products all have a place in the market, but tackling the basic formation of scale build up and the negative effects this will have on the water system should not be left to chance.
Phosphates have for years been used in the treatment of potable (drinking water) to prevent red (from iron) and black (from manganese) water and to prevent and reduce scale formation (from minerals depositing) and corrosion (from low pH and /or dissimilar metals) in the water distribution system. Phosphates will also reduce soluble lead and copper in potable water.
Ensuring the correct dosage of a polyphosphate into the water supply is paramount to provide the required results. International Norms state that polyphosphate dosage should not exceed 5.5ppm/ltr. Equally, to prevent scale build up the minimum dosage required is 2.5ppm/ltr.The Minidos from Advantay is a patented and unique device which accurately, volumetrically and proportionately measures a dosage of 3.5ppm/ltr of a liquid polyphosphate solution into the water.
The dosage is unaffected by temperature, flow rates, water pressure or usage, and uses the principle of an impeller to guarantee the accurate and proportionate dosage of the liquid into the water supply in any working condition. The Minidos guarantees that there is never an incidence of oversupply to the system.
By using a liquid solution (Acquasil 20/40) we are the only company to achieve this accurate dosage as the liquid is injected directly into the water system and does not rely on the dissolving of a solid to mix with the water.
